Financial Development


Financial Development

• Selects items which will make the Society more visible as well as

increase finances and gains approval for these items from the Finance

Committee

• Makes available items for sale at Chi State functions

• Expends monies from the Financial Development Fund to cover costs

incurred in making items available

• Recommends uses of monies from the Financial Development Fund

for special programs with the approval of the Finance and Executive

Committee

  1. Select appropriate items which will make the Society more visible and the sale of which will increase financial resources
  2. Present such items to the Finance Committee for approval
  3. Have items available at any DKG California function, when requested
  4. Expend monies from the Financial Development Fund to cover costs incurred in making items available
  5. Recommend uses of monies from the Financial Development Fund for special programs, with the approval of the Finance and Executive Committees, as stipulated in the Standing Rules of DKG California, Section 10.4.

Professionally, I taught grade four, five and six for 33 years.  I was a BTSA support provider, and was selected to be a mentor teacher three times.  I was a coordinator for new teachers, and developed new teacher and substitute teacher handbooks.  I am now retired. At the Chapter level, I have held the positions of President, Vice President, Secretary and Parliamentarian.  My service to Chi State includes being an Area XII Director, and serving on the Financial   Development Committee since 2003.
Linda Guelfo

Professionally, I was a high school Business Teacher and a Teacher-Trainer in the vocational field.

At the Chapter level, I have been Historian, Treasurer, Membership Chair, Newsletter Editor, and President twice.  My Chi State involvement includes Communications Committee for 2 biennia, Area IV Director, PG&S Committee, 2015 Local Arrangements Committee Chair.




Kathy Lewis

Professionally, I am currently teaching second grade in Elk Grove.  I have been teaching for 22 year in grades K to 6.  At the Chapter level, I have held the positions of Chapter President, First Vice President and Second Vice President.  I have also served as a Founder's Day Chairman. My service to Chi State includes participating in the Chi State Convention in Sacramento in 2011 and joining the Financial Development Committee in 2014.
